The width of a wall cabinet can vary to allow for single or double doors.

In standard kitchens the wall cabinets are typically 30 or 36 inches tall with the space above enclosed by soffits.
Deeper cabinets are also available and are useful because refrigerators have been getting deeper up to 36 inches deep 92cm so a deeper countertop is appropriate. The standard depth of a base kitchen cabinet is 24 without a countertop and 25 to 26 with a countertop. A standard wall cabinet will vary in multiples of threes between 12 inches and 36 inches.
Jon karlsson designed the piece as a module with options of different sizes to organize items of all sizes. Base cabinet dimensions are made up of three parts. The standard gap between the top of the base cabinet and the bottom of the wall cabinet is 18 inches.
You can select cabinets to reach from floor to ceiling or you can have the 84 inch cabinet that leaves about a foot up top between the cabinet and ceiling. Base cabinet dimensions standard base cabinet depth is 24 inches 61cm. A standard base kitchen cabinet will measure about 34 1 2 high and 35 to 36 high from your kitchen floor with a countertop.
