Cabinet pull placement. Cabinet pulls have two screws as opposed to only one screw with a knob. On drawers and pull out cabinets knobs are typically centered on the drawer front. Adjust the screw hole placement accordingly if necessary.
The center of the base cabinet drawer rail is another popular place to install a pull handle. 2 is typically a good distance. The knob or pull can align with the rail or it could be higher or lower there are no rules.
Let s look at a few options. Cabinet knobs are placed opposite of door hinges. On base cabinets they are placed 2 1 2 to 3 from the upper corner of the door.
The bottom of the pull on upper cabinets and top of the pull on lower cabinets is centered on the corner. On upper cabinets the bottom screw hole should be placed 2 5 3 above the bottom of the door. Center the hardware horizontally on the stile between 2 and 4 inches down from the top edge.
Bottom cabinet pull out doors. And just like with knob placement cabinets will look busy when the pull handles are placed flush with the door frame. On wall cabinets knobs are usually placed 2 1 2 to 3 from the bottom corner of the door.
Some people also choose to place pull handles in the upper or lower corners of the frame specifically anywhere from 1 to 3 from the corners. For pulls you will want the end of the pull to be in this position. Cabinet knob placement for solid drawer front under 24 wide.
