Cabinet refacing is essentially a replacement of the cabinet skins replacing the doors and drawer fronts and applying a new veneer over the existing surface of the body carcass of the cabinets.

After cleaning and sanding the sides apply the correctly sized plywood piece with carpenter s glue. Secure the plywood with finish nails sink the nail heads then fill the holes with wood filler. Maybe your hinges and glides are worn out or the cabinet look dingy cabinet refacing is a great solution.
